Please join the History Society and Feminist Society for a talk on ‘Where are the Minority Women?: An Intersectional Critique of Feminist Movements’ delivered by Dr. Sarah Liu.
This talk will discuss different feminist movements in more recent history from an intersectional persepctive. The event will consist of a lecture delivered by Dr. Sarah Liu followed by a Q&A section towards the end and is sure to be an interesting talk. This event is taking place to celebrate Women’s History Month in March so make sure to come along to celebrate women’s history!
Dr. Sarah Liu is a lecturer at the University of Edinburgh in Gender and Politics. Her research focuses on women’s political participation and representation, media, East Asian politics, gender, and migration/citizenship.
