Our October EMCC North West Network CPD event will be facilitated by Garry Cook. Through interactive discussion and experiential activity we will explore:
> Anxieties we and the client may experience that can affect the coaching process
> Personal comfort and discomfort linked to the ‘5 Levels of Communication’
> How we can aim our questions to uncover useful information for the client
> The use of Neurological Levels to uncover the underlying issue
> 5 questions you can ask to understand your client’s values
Note: A nominal charge of £5.00 will be collected on the door to cover room and refreshment costs.
With over 30 years' experience of working in the people and organisational development arena, Garry is a skilled facilitator, coach, and coach supervisor specialising in behavioural and attitudinal change. He has coached executives and trained internationally in a wide variety of organisations at all levels of management.
In 2004 Garry established Experience Coaching to provide coaching, training and facilitation that makes a positive difference to individuals, teams, and organisations. His clients appreciate his ability to translate complex management theories into down to earth common sense which have practical application.

Who can attend this event?
This CPD event is open to all coaches and mentors with an interest in professional development, simply register your interest and reserve your place here. We meet at 5.30pm for informal networking, for a prompt start at 6pm finishing no later than 8pm.
I'm not certain that I can come: what should I do?
Places are limited by the size of the room, so please consider others when booking a place. If you do have to cancel please give as much notice as possible, by canceling your ticket on Eventbrite, so that others are not disappointed. We often have a waiting list for these popular events.
What are my parking options for the event?
Car parking at the University is Pay & Display. For your own peace of mind, please make sure that you are parked in a visitor parking bay and that you have paid the appropriate fee.
Which room is it in?
Directions to the room are available from the Management School reception.
Is there time for networking?
Informal networking from 17:30; the event starts at 18:00 prompt.
Are refreshments available?
Tea and coffee are available on arrival.
Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
There's no need to print out your ticket.

The EMCC NW Network is an opportunity for coaches and mentors to meet in the North West of England and share current knowledge and ideas in the field of coaching and mentoring. Both members and non members of the EMCC are very welcome to attend our events.
The network is managed by a small group of volunteers led by Sheila Udall.
