Welcome with home made cookies, organic cordial for the children and tea/coffee for the grown ups.
Introduction to Hen Corner and where our food comes from, followed by each activity below:
Meeting the chickens (everyone can have a stroke/cuddle if they like) and an opportunity to collect the eggs
Watching the bee hives from a safe distance, studying live bees from behind the glass of an observation hive, exploring the life cycle of a honey bee, dressing up as a bee keeper and tasting some of our award winning honey.
Exploring the Kitchen Garden and fruit trees to discover what food can be grown and harvested in London, planting herb seeds that can be taken home to germinate
We will finish our time together with tea and cakes....
