Event description

Description

Forget the golden hour, you now have minutes to save your reputation.

In a bid to say thank you to our members for your invaluable support, CIPR East Anglia has teamed up with Paul Mylrea, Director of Communications at the University of Cambridge to bring you this exclusive event – for free!

Where has the time gone?

Forget the old rile to observe the ‘golden hour’ in an emergency. In an era where communication is instantaneous and everyone has a voice, brands now have just minutes to save their reputation.

Drawing on the experience of handling the 7/7 bombings in London, managing communications for the UK’s government’s international aid department and being at the heart of the BBC’s constant media storm, Paul Mylrea will look at how changing behaviour is transforming the way we need to react.

The lunchtime event will be held at the Cormack Room at the University Centre, Granta Place, Cambridge, CB2 1RU on Thursday 27th July between 12pm – 2pm. The format will be as follows:

· 12pm – 12:45pm: Registration and a complimentary lunch

· 12:45pm – 12:50pm: Welcome from CIPR EA Chairs, Amanda and Adam

· 12:50pm – 1:45pm: “Where has the time gone?” by Paul Mylrea

· 1:45pm – 2pm: Questions

This event is completely free to attend but spaces are limited.

We have 50 complimentary spaces available for our members and they are being offered on a first come first serve basis. Tickets are restricted to one per person.
