About this event

  • Event lasts 4 hours

Engineering is all around us. Every product, tool, device and service relies on engineers designing, refining and creating solutions to problems. But how many of us are really aware of the work that these engineers do?

This session puts the E in STEM, exploring how engineering can be seen as the practical end of all the sciences.

Students will use programmable electronics and sensors to start to explore the world around us, and have the opportunity to be creative to make a product for the future.

This workshop is strictly for 12–14 year-olds and will include a 30 minute lunch break. Students should bring lunch and a drink.

Refunds can only be issued for tickets cancelled at least two weeks (14 calendar days) in advance of the event date. Please note that this supersedes our normal event terms and conditions.
