The Inclusion Conversation is a monthly event that aims to break down borders and bring the world closer together a conversation at a time.

About this event

Episode 18 of Ashanti Bentil-Dhue's podcast Confessions of a DEI Practitioner: "Should White People (Mostly Women) Do Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Work?" points out the visible lack of diversity in the field of diversity & inclusion.

How did that happen? Why does it matter? What can we do about it? We'll find out during this conversation about Where is the Diversity in Diversity & Inclusion? with Ashanti Bentil-Dhue, a leading diversity and inclusion practitioner, speaker and coach based in the UK.

Ashanti Bentil-Dhue's groundbreaking thought-leadership around creating an ethical, accountable and research-based diversity, equity and inclusion industry has led to her being recognised as a valuable resource for companies seeking to become more diverse and inclusive. She also co-founded Diversity Ally, a platform raising awareness of diversity and inclusion in the global events industry.

The hour will be divided in 2 parts:

1. Talkshow: Our host will ask our guest questions. This part will be recorded (30 mins)

2. Conversation: We will open the virtual room to everyone attending LIVE and create a safe space for you all to share your personal stories and lived experiences around the topic. This part will not be recorded (30 mins)

The session will be hosted by Solène Anglaret, Founder of Be Beyond Borders, and author of four books about identity, diversity, and inclusion including travel memoir Where to Next? and children's story Where Are You From?

Looking forward to our inclusion conversation.
