Carol Williams (MSc, BA (Hons)), RSCN, RGN, Consultant in Children’s Nursing & Healthcare at CW Healthcare Ltd - author of Special Needs School Nursing Project - presenting the results of a 12 month research project involving special schools in Bradford, Kent, Sheffield and West Sussex
Emma Smith, Project Manager for Bradford District Achievement Partnership and Health Analyst - detailing her legal review of the Children and Families Act, NHS Act and SEND Code of Practice, which suggest that many schools are being asked to operate a model of health and therapy support for pupils in their schools that is not compliant with the law
