About this event

Join the York illustrator meet-up group for a special Where’s Wally? walk and draw at York Book Fair!

Come hang out at the UK’s largest antiquarian book fair, browse beautiful old books, and take part in a special observational drawing game!

Your mission: spot and sketch! You might:

- Draw someone in a colourful shirt

- Find an illustration inside a book and copy it from memory

- Sketch someone sketching!

Bring your favourite drawing tools, something to draw on, and your curiosity. We’ll provide a list of prompts to get your creativity going.

- Free entry (but ticketed so we can plan numbers)

- Tickets & travel for the fair: All visitor info, including how to book your free fair ticket, details of the free shuttle from York city centre to the racecourse, and security info, can be found at www.yorkbookfair.com.

- Please meet outside the doors to the fair at 10:30am & in the foyer at 12pm to share our drawings :)

A fantastic creative day-out to meet fellow illustrators and find inspiration in thousands of beautiful books!
