Ever fancied sketching among telescopes, globes, and centuries-old scientific instruments? Step into Cambridge University's home for the history of science for a relaxed and creative evening.
This is the third Whipple Scribble session. Whether you're a seasoned artist or simply curious to try something new, all abilities are welcome. It's free to join, open to all, and a great way to connect with fellow creatives in the Cambridge area.
At 5:30pm, there’ll be a short, optional introduction to the Whipple led by our Learning Coordinator, Alison Giles. This 20-minute tour offers a brief overview of the museum and its collection. You're welcome to skip the tour if you'd prefer to go straight to sketching.
🖍 What to bring:We’ll provide basic materials such as paper and pencils. Feel free to bring your favourite sketchbook or dry media. Please note: paints and watercolours are not permitted in the galleries for conservation reasons.
