About this event

Get special VIP access and come for a wander around the education grounds at Whisby Nature Park at night. We'll have various activities based on our elusive nocturnal wildlife, from bat detectors to UV torches to spot certain creatures. You will also have the opportunity to enjoy some nice warm hot chocolate (dairy free available).

Suitable for children aged 5+ years. Each child should be accompanied by no more than 2 adults.

Cost: £10.00 for the first child, £8.00 for any additional children.

Weather: Our activities will largely take place outside in the nature reserve, so please dress appropriately for the weather on the evening. Indoor activities are available for extreme weather circumstances.

What to bring: Warm clothing and a torch.

Parking: Please park in the main visitor pay & display car park. Then come on down to the education centre to meet us there.

Whisby Nature Park

A Lincolnshire Wildlife Trust nature reserve, Whisby Nature Park is a beautiful landscape near Lincoln, full of wildlife, walks and trails. The park was created by quarrying for sand and gravel, but nature has reclaimed the pits and bare sand, creating habitats for many species.

Events at Whisby Nature Park include guided walks, fungi forays, pond dipping, Wildlife Watch (our nature club for 6-12 year old's), Junior Wardens (an introduction to conservation for young teens) and much more.
