Event description
For 35 years WHISC has been supporting women and their families throughout Merseyside. Tickets available on the door £7

About this Event

For 35 years WHISC has been supporting women throughout Merseyside. Founded by a group of women in 1984 who wanted more provisions for women's health, WHISC has been at the forfront of women's health in the city.

We support all women’s mental health and wellbeing, through the provision of psychological therapies, complementary therapies, self-help, exercise classes and health education. We empower all women with information, free support and activities that combat isolation and support wellbeing.

We believe all women should be respected, and girls should grow up with high self-esteem. No one should experience barriers to getting the information, support and care they need for them to achieve optimum health. Our Drop-In provides women with a menu of services which they can engage with and our outreach activities builds links with communities throughout Merseyside.

This event will be a celebrating of everything we do and a celebration of the wonderful women across Merseyside who are the back bone of their communities. This event will be filled with comedy, poetry, art and live music. We also have some wonderful prizes up for grabs in our auction and raffle.

All proceeds from tickets and event will go directly to support the work we do at WHISC.
