Dom and Jo at the Crown Inn, Harbury have kindly offered to host us for an early evening voyage round the flavours and styles of Scotland's whisky regions. No previous knowledge of whisky required - just an interest in exploring the world of single malts. We'll be serving six single malt drams showcasing different styles, one from each of Scotland's five official whisky regions, and drawn from a mix of distilleries young and old, well-known and lesser-spotted, large and small, and including both independent and distilleries' official bottlings. And yes, Peat will be making an appearance at some stage, though not necessarily where you might be expecting him. We're still working with Decanter Spirit in Leamington on the final line-up, but as the event is being organised on a not-for-profit basis the more of you come along, the more we'll have to spend on the whiskies. So if you want to find out where the sixth dram is from come along, and bring your friends - kilts, sporrans and bagpipes entirely optional. Tickets £30, plus booking fee. Slainte!
