About this event

Ijapa the Tortoise and the Forest Spirits battle for supremacy, mirroring the human destruction of an ever shape-shifting natural environment.

Immerse yourself in Whispering Forest augmented reality experience emerging from ancient Yoruba tales about nature's powers of destruction and repair. You will encounter mythical characters in a virtual forest of spectacular embodied textiles and beautiful African sound. A short optional storyboarding workshop will follow.

Please note this immersive experience will involve using a VR headset.

The Yoruba Tales Collective's Whispering Forest is presented by UAL: London College of Fashion and East London Dance as part of Greenwich and Docklands International Festival's Dancing City.

There is step free access to all spaces at London College of Fashion, but please let us know if you require additional access support.
