Whistle are back at Aras an Chronain with the kind support from South Dublin County Council and the Department of Tourism, Culture, Arts, Gaeltacht, Sport and Media.
Whistle are a lively and fun band, based in Dublin, who play Americana-style music, mixing their original songs with a diverse catalogue of covers. They specialise in multi-part vocal harmonies and play guitar, banjo, violin, bass, mandolin, percussion and more.
Whistle have been together for many years now, with extensive experience playing in venues and major festivals all over Ireland. There are six members in the band all of whom sing and play.
Favourite venues include Whelan’s, Grand Social and The Underground with regular festivals comprising Electric Picnic, Dunmore East bluegrass festival and Cahirsiveen Mountain Roots festival. In 2021 Whistle were invited to play at Dunlaoire and South Dublin County Council summer live music events. Watch out for more in 2022.

Shared Spirit are a group of singers and musicians all individually talented and musically experienced in their own right. Put them together and it is something very special with tight harmonies and tasteful musicianship. It’s hard not to feel moved by their Spirit . . . . as their name suggests.
