About this event
Back by popular demand for a second season and another opportunity to connect the Far North musical community through the darker months of the year.
Angus technical ability on both whistle and pipes is awe-inspiring and he chooses the best tunes to share with his students. His Zoom craic is also worth tuning in for.
Angus will provide 4 sessions over the Winter months. The ticket price covers all four sessions and recordings will be sent out following each session for people who are not able to attend in person. Concessions are available for students and young people.
This event is particularly aimed towards pipers who are trying to improve their whistle playing but anyone is welcome to join.

The learning of the tunes will be done in your own time. What we aim to provide with these sessions is a focus, a reason to practice and an opportunity to come together as a community and to ask questions. It's always good craic.
Yes of course but there will likely be chat around the considerations that Pipers have when transferring their skills onto Whistle.
You need to have some ability on the whistle as it's not a teaching session. The tunes will be intermediate + level in terms of difficulty.
No - you'll be on mute so will just hear yourself and Angus playing together. It's a safe place to try whistle if you're not feeling too confident.
