What is your refund policy?

As per the event's Terms and Conditions the ticket fee is non-transferable and non-refundable.

Question 2

Children supervision?

Accepted Answer

Children aged 16 years and under must take part alongside a paying adult and be accompanied by an adult throughout the Event. School and youth groups who take part must have adequate supervision.

Question 3

Is the powdered paint safe?

Accepted Answer

Yes, all the powdered paint used is non-toxic and made from corn starch in accordance with relevant health and safety manufacturing regulations.

Question 4

What shall I ware?

Accepted Answer

Due to the nature of the coloured dyes used in the event, it is the participant’s responsibility to come suitably dressed for the event.  A white T-Shirt and a pair of sunglasses will be provided, which is included in the ticket price. We suggest waring old shorts, leggings & shoes.

Question 5

Damage to personal property?

Accepted Answer

Whitby District Lion's Club takes no responsibility for any damage to, or loss of, personal items and property of participants or spectators at or during the Event (including, but not limited to, damage to shoes and clothing caused by the coloured dye).

Question 6

Is there anywhere to store personal possessions while doing the event?

Accepted Answer

Unfortunately, there is no storage available at the event. Please keep all personal possessions with yourself at all times or pass them to family or friends who are not participating.

Question 7

Is parking available?

Accepted Answer

The nearest car parking available is either on West Cliff where there are two public car parks, on-street pay and display parking, or the Marina/Endeavour Wharf car parks which are located on Longborne Road opposite the Whitby Coop supermarket.

Question 8

Are there any toilets available at the event?

Accepted Answer

No toilets are provided at this event. The nearest public toilets are located on Pier Road near the Whitby Bandstand which is short walk from the beach. Please note you will have pay in order to use these public toilets.

Question 9

What happens to the money the event raises?

Accepted Answer

100% of the money we raise through ticket sales, will be donated to Whitby District Lion’s Club to support our work in the local community. Each year Whitby Lion’s raise thousands of pounds for local Whitby charities and good causes.
