In this webinar, we take an in-depth look at our new BBC micro:bit–integrated science resources, designed to bring digital skills to life in primary science classrooms. No prior coding experience is necessary. We’ll show you how to access the ready-made code, developed in collaboration with the Micro:bit Educational Foundation, and explore the step-by-step guidance provided in the schemes of learning and comprehensive teaching slides. Explore how easy it is to get started with the micro:bit and see how children can use it to measure and collect data through engaging, hands-on experiments. Join us to discover how children can explore scientific concepts through the meaningful use of technology and engage with science in new, practical ways using simple, accessible tools.
