Whitehill & Bordon Glow Ride

Come join us for the Glow Ride in Whitehill & Bordon! Get ready for a night of fun as we light up the streets with our colorful bikes and glow sticks. Whether you're a casual rider or a seasoned cyclist, this Glow Ride is perfect for all ages and cycling abilities and a fantastic way to celebrate community spirit and enjoy a unique night-time adventure.

What to Expect:

  • A 7km guided ride, split into two loops with a halfway drop-out point (if needed) for little legs.
  • Marshalls will guide the route, manage road crossings, and ensure no one gets lost.
  • Bring as much glow as you can manage – fairy lights, glow sticks, neon gear – the brighter, the better!
  • Photos will be taken during the event. If you prefer not to appear in them, please speak to a marshall before the ride begins.
  • Children under 13 must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
  • Helmets are mandatory, and all riders must obey the rules of the road.
  • Bike lights are essential – front and rear.
  • Your bike must be roadworthy; we won’t be able to offer mechanical support on the night (see video on what to check from Cycling UK here - https://tinyurl.com/bikeready)

  • Meeting Point: The EV Car Park at The Shed in Bordon
  • Organiser: Whitehill & Bordon Living Streets Group & Cycling UK
  • Ticket/Registration: Free, but please register each rider for a ticket so we know you're coming!
  • The ride is expected to take around 1 hour or more, especially with younger riders.
  • Public liability insurance is in place, but participants ride at their own risk.
  • By registering, you confirm that you understand the nature of the event and agree to follow safety instructions from marshalls.
  • Riders under 18 must have parental consent (forms available at registration).
  • Please let us know of any accessibility needs in advance so we can support you.
