Event description

Description

Are you in postgraduate medical training?
Interested in ways to improve your well-being?

We would like to invite you to take part in our workshop.

The workshop has two aims:

  1. To provide doctors with an understanding of how to improve their well-being, foster resilience and help prevent burnout, and

  2. Inform doctors of ways in which they can take control of their technology use to have a better work-life balance.

During the two-hour workshop, there will be an opportunity for you to reflect on your current practices and preferences, as well as share experiences with others.

You will be presented with a series of possible strategies which will help you improve your work-life balance and asked to commit to at least one of them for 2 weeks.

Feedback
“Very useful. Rings true to my career. Great to reflect on these issues”
(Workshop participant)

“Useful – especially the technological interventions for managing boundaries between work & home life” (Workshop participant)

This event is funded by UCL Grand Challenges and brings together UCL researchers with expertise in medical education, psychology and human-computer interaction.
