Cs Local Scotland would like to introduce to you Competition and Markets Authority, they work to promote competition for the benefit of consumers, both within and outside the UK. Its aim is to make markets work well for consumers, businesses and the economy.

Over the last year, the CMA has undergone a massive expansion in Scotland with over 40 new staff joining in a variety of roles and professions.

Open to all grades, with the aim of the event being to:

Understand the role and function of the CMA and how it fits into the consumer landscape in Scotland
Know how the CMA demonstrates “A Brilliant Civil Service”, by hearing from staff across a range of roles and professions
Find out about opportunities to shadow staff within the CMA Edinburgh office
Connect people from different departments in an environment where they learn and share information
Enable people to gain insight into local or national challenges and government priorities

Please ensure you obtain approval from your line manager before registering for the event, and ensure you register using your work email address.

Please ensure you use the facility when registering to add the event to your calendar so that you don't forget and double book, and so that people on your team know where you are.
