Whole School SEND Strategy Summit

We are holding our next conference on September 20th at Church House, Westminster!

The Summit will focus on approaches to including and supporting learners with SEND across regions, local authorities, MATs and other groups of schools.


W
e are delighted to host keynotes from the following:

Sir David Carter (National Schools Commissioner),
Warwick Mansell (Education journalist and author),
Malcolm Reeve (Dir. SEND and Inclusion for AET)
and Sarah Driver (Founder of Driver Youth Trust)


These will be followed by a series of interactive workshops delivered by leading voices on SEND and inclusion, including:

The Strategy Summit represents the next step on from our current programme of work reviewing, sharing and embedding inclusive practice, including a growing community of more than 350 peer SEND reviewers across over 30 MATs and 68 Local Authorities and a wider network of more than 4000 schools, leaders and advocates across the UK. The event will also serve as a platform for showcasing the latest resources and opportunities from Whole School SEND, including a free SEND Review programme for MATs, a free professional development programme for national SEND Advocates and a range of cutting edge resources from Whole School SEND partners including free copies of the new Teaching Assistant Deployment Review Guide.

This event is for regional leads, Inclusion Leads, Directors of Inclusion, teachers, senior leaders, SENDCos, parents, trustees and governors with a strong commitment to improving outcomes for learners with SEND.

Our aim is to strengthen our community of 4000 schools, leaders and advocates in order to develop thinking around cross-school inclusion and drive improvement nationwide.

Tickets are £200 but, in line with our policy of maximising access to as broad a group of contributors as possible, we have bursaries available for those to whom cost may be prohibitive.
