Whole System Strategy for Healthcare Estates

The Liverpool Health Economy is undergoing a period of significant change, with the impact of cuts in Social Care and Health Budgets coming at a time of increasing demand and expectations.
The Liverpool Health system led by the Liverpool CCGs have combined through the Healthy Liverpool Programme (HLP) and underlined by the national Sustainability and Transformation Plan (STP) are seeking to bring about system wide change to not only deliver significant improvement in health outcomes but do so with less funding available.
The impact of these changes will be made evident in; shared and combined back office functions, combined procurement and contract negotiations, reconfiguration of hospital, community and social care services resulting in changes to Healthcare Estate with potential for significant investment and land disposals to follow.
