And we’re back for another night of LGBTQIA+ open mic magic!
Whether you want to test some comedy material, perform a new song in progress, try out something experimental in front of an audience, or come along to support local talent, then this is the evening for you.
From drag to spoken word, dance to music, the stage is yours (for up to 5 minutes, let’s not get too greedy here).
This is perfect for artists and creative folks who want to test something new on an audience, whether you’re an established performer or just starting out.
Hosted by artist and youth worker Gloria Jack and community organiser Rich, come along to see some new works in progress, support upcoming talent and feel inspired.
This evening might encounter some bumps and tech hiccups, but it’s a guaranteed evening of fun, support and something new.
Kicking off the first half of the evening are a series of local performers and creatives that pre-booked. You can book a slot here.
Who can perform?
We want this to be a platform for LGBTQIA+ artists and creatives based in Peterborough and the nearby villages aged 18+.
Artists and creatives at any stage of their career are welcome. Those who are allies or support the LGBTQIA+ community are welcome to attend the evening and support.
How will the evening work?
Before the evening, there will be 5 bookable slots for artists and creatives who want to prepare work for the evening. To book, simply fill out the sign up form. These are bookable slots on a first come first served. To see if there’s space click here.
Missed out on the form? No worries, folks can turn up on the night to perform in the second half of the evening. Just bring what you need and add your name to the signup sheet. We’ll get through as many as we can, but they’ll be on a first come first served basis.
Throughout the evening the audience will go wild and be super supportive.
Every performer will get a free drink.
This is a pilot, there may be some bumps during the night but that’s how practice makes perfect.

The venue is on 939 Lincoln Road, opposite the big Morissons. The what3word location is dices.pint.remark. There are 2 entrances, come through to the door near the cafe.
Yes, there will be a series of open mic slots in the second half of the evening. You can sign up via the sign up sheet on the night to take to the stage. These will be on a first come first served basis.
The venue is wheelchair accessible, with the entrance wide enough for a manual wheelchair. There are 2 wheelchair, gender neutral bathrooms. The venue is step free, however there are 3 steps to get onto the stage. The front of the stage can be cleared for performances.
This is a platform for LGBTQIA+ artists and creatives in and around Peterborough. Allies and supporters are welcome to come and attend the evening.
Angle Entertainment have their own cafe and drinks available to buy throughout the evening. Please note that only soft drinks are currently available, and drinks from outside can't be brought in.
There is parking but spaces are limited. Parking can be found at the back of the building. The what3word location is rainy.tummy.fries. Some on road parking is available along Paston Lane. Morrisons has parking for up to 3 hours
