Who's still to get changed? BEd Year 4 Research Conference
Fri 5 May 2017, 09:00 – 15:00 BST
4th Year BEd PE Students (the final year group of BEd ever!) are hosting a research conference entitled "Who's Still to get changed: BEd Year 4 Research Conference" The conference is a celebration of the hard work and effort students have put into their dissertation. The conference also offers students the opportunity to present their research findings with fellow PE teachers, possible future employers and associate organisations. There are two key note speakers confirmed for the event. They will talk about their own research and experiences within the world of PE. The first confirmed speaker is Suzanne Hargeaves, head of Health and Wellbeing in Scotland. The second confirmed speaker, Dr Ashley Casey, is travelling from Loughborough University and specialises in pedagogical models including Cooperative Learning, Teaching Games for Understanding and Sport Education.
The success of last years conference has created a buzz and we are sure it will be as successful with many teachers already signed up again for this years conference. Lunch and refreshments will be provided on the day.
