Event description

Description

A fantastically fun (whilst deadly serious), child-centred day including Science, Geography, English, History & PSHE, taught by means of a wide variety of outdoor & hands-on (yuk!) learning activities (and all safely without the need to touch a real poo!).

What is poo? Do you know your otter spraint from your rabbit droppings? What is an owl pellet? Why does poo protect certain animals? Who in the world does the most unusual poo? What can we use poo for? Can you tell a Roman poop from a Viking poop? Can we break the ‘poo taboo’ & improve children’s health? What makes a healthy stool & why is this important?

An inspirational approach to ‘getting you going’ and a creative example of topic-based learning.

This course takes place outdoors for the majority of the day, please dress in outdoor clothing and bring warm layers, waterproofs and both indoor and outdoor footwear.
