About this event

When considering a career in games, many people immediately jump to the hands-on roles - game designers, programmers, artists, and writers. But when you look at the credits of major title releases, there's actually many more roles that go into packaging the games as we know them!

The London Analytics team at Square Enix are excited to join Games Careers Week to present you a talk on one of the more hidden pieces of games development. From finding cheaters and bugs, to balancing the in-game experience, to supporting the marketing to help you hear about a games' release, we're one of the few teams to touch almost every single title that Square Enix release.

We'll be discussing our individual journeys into Square Enix and the games industry (most of us are new to the industry!), the skills and mindset you need to work in analytics, and what we do on a day-to-day basis. This event is mostly aimed at university students of all disciplines, but we hope to bring an event that is informative for everyone.

There will be a Q&A after.
