About this event

An event for everybody who is concerned with this question.

Loneliness has become a major public health challenge and young people are the most vulnerable demographic to suffer from it in the UK and other Western countries in recent times. This interactive presentation will discuss findings from research with young people from the UK about their experiences and the subjective causes of their loneliness. It will also put forward possible solutions that can help lessen or tackle loneliness in young people based on the researcher’s investigations, as well as his own observations and study of psychology and wisdom traditions.

Join us for this interactive session as we delve into this important issue, which remains hugely unresolved despite the age of hyperconnectivity.

This autumn the Beshara Trust are hosting a (mainly) online course for young people entitled "Finding happiness and purpose in today's world". For details see here.
