About this event

We are delighted to announce that Otley 2030 will be holding a series of talks across 2025 that will look at key issues related to climate change, nature recovery, and social justice. These events will give local people the chance to learn about interesting topics from experts in their field and also find out more about Otley 2030 projects and how they can get involved.

Talk 4: In the autumnal months of the year some of us start to see condensation occurring on our internal windowpanes and other cold areas in our houses. Why does this happen? What can we do about it? Are there real health implications related to damp houses? Martin will try to answer these questions from a scientific point of view and show how controlled humidity levels in houses will reduce the likelihood of condensation occurring.

After the talk there will be chance to mingle with Otley 2030 volunteers and learn about our projects, whilst enjoy a cuppa and some treats from the Otley Community Larder.
