Why do we need healthy rivers? - With BSL
Event Information
About this Event
Join us for the sixth talk in our Severn Series, a collection of online webinars exploring the life beneath the surface of the UK's longest river.
In this exciting virtual panel, we will be joined by Unlocking the Severn project partners to discuss river health. Our panellists will provide perspectives on a range of topics, including why we need healthy rivers and the different ways in which river health is impacted by human action. They will also share information about some of the vital conservation work being undertaken on and around the River Severn.
This free talk will be hosted on Zoom and will be interpreted by a British Sign Language interpreter.
Joining details will be sent out to registered participants in advance using the email address provided. The talk will be tailored to adults but is also suitable for older children, who should be supervised during the event.
Unlocking the Severn is being delivered by Canal & River Trust, Severn Rivers Trust, Environment Agency and Natural England. It is made possible thanks to funding from the National Lottery Heritage Fund and the European Union LIFE Programme.
