Course Aim:
To highlight the essential role of movement and hydration in supporting the health and wellbeing of people living in care settings, and to equip participants with the knowledge and confidence to integrate both into everyday practice in simple, meaningful ways.
Learning Outcomes:
By the end of this session, participants will be able to:
• Understand health impacts of inactivity and dehydration
• Recognise early signs of dehydration and under-movement
• Appreciate how movement and hydration support each other
• Embed both into everyday care practices

- Delivered live by a qualified physical activity specialist and an expert in activity provision, with extensive experience in the physical activity and care sectors

Certificates of attendance will only be issued to attendees who attend for the whole of the session.This course will be delivered via ZOOM and will include, presentations, discussion and reflection, case studies, videos and demonstrations. Please make sure that you are familiar with using ZOOM.
