Steve Sheppard is a Cyber Protect Officer from Devon and Cornwall Police, currently seconded to the South West Cyber Resilience Centre (SWCRC), where he works as CEO and co-director. His role is to help local businesses and organisations stay safer online. Steve has spent years working in crime prevention, online safety, and community engagement. He’s passionate about making cyber security simple and accessible for everyone, especially smaller businesses and community groups.
Joseph Ross is a Cyber Protect Officer from Wiltshire Police and co-director of the SWCRC. He also leads on the Centre’s work with local universities, helping students gain real-world experience in cyber awareness and safety. With a background in education and technology, Joe focuses on practical, easy-to-understand support that helps organisations take small steps to protect themselves online
