The London Group - Great Networking Monthly

Presents:

Why Spend Money on Getting Legal Advice?

Our specialists include:

Stephanie Kleyman, Kleyman & Co Solicitors - will give us a whistle stop tour through cases they have been involved with and business people they have come across where having a solicitor was often not just an advantage, but absolutely essential and why:

  • It can save you time.
  • It can save you money.
  • It can save your business!

Christopher Burgon, Christopher Burgon Litigation Solicitor - is a specialist in conflict management. Do you settle for less than you want, or less than you are entitled to? Do you let others push you around simply to avoid a fight? Christopher will give you the insights you need to get what you want from life’s disputes, including how to:

  • Get control of your emotions.
  • Find clarity in the chaos and see things that others miss.
  • Think further ahead and outpace your opponent.

Kezia Daley, DWFM Beckman Solicitors - will give us a heads up on the key questions around immigration post Brexit both as it affects EU nationals and in the wider context of UK Immigration and why getting legal advice is not just an option but essential for many employers, including:

  • For EU workers/residents:
    • What are the cut-off dates?
    • Who can apply to stay and what does the 5 year rule imply?
  • For employers dealing with immigration:
    • What is covered under illegal working legislation?
    • Why is it necessary to get legal advice on compliance and illegal working?

(see our speakers's profiles futher down the event details).
