A talk by Paul Hethering, Leader of RSPB Woodbridge Local Group.The estuary of the Deben is host to a wide variety of sea birds,waders, and wild fowl, while many species of garden birds can be foundon its banks.Paul will talk about the variety of habitats which make the Debenattractive to birds, what birds are likely to be seen (and heard) andwhere you can go to see them for yourself.

Woodbridge Riverside Trust hosts an impressive range of events throughout the year in the John Gibbins Gallery upstairs in the Longshed - an iconic building on the site of the former Whisstocks boatyard beside the beautiful River Deben. We are close to the railway station and parking. Whisstocks Place has many eateries, coffee shops and historic places of interest.
