Event description

Description

Evidence shows that good quality relationships are central to good health and wellbeing - for adults and children - while distressed relationships are major risk factors for poor mental and physical health.

Join Relate Sussex and Marriage Care for a glass of wine and an informative discussion about the importance of relationships in a thriving society and why preventative support is so important.

Dr David Marjoribanks of Relate, will be discussing research from the recent report The Relationship Distress Monitor which found that one in five couples are in distressed relationships. Relate Sussex Centre Director, Jo-Anne Carden will follow with local relationship trends, what we can do to prevent distressed relationships and the many problems they can lead to.
