WiBA is delighted to welcome you to our annual Women of Distinction Lunch at Gusto Italian Restaurant, Birmingham with guest speaker, Louise McCathie, deputy director of fundraising, strategy and brand at PDSA.
We regularly celebrate the achievements of women of distinction at the top of their career and hear their personal reflections of career success to inspire us, whatever our stage of our working life.
Having recently moved into her current role at PDSA, Louise has a distinguished career in the voluntary, community and charity sector at National Institute for Conductive Education (NICE), Childline, British Heart Foundation, Mencap, Birmingham Children’s Hospital and NHS Together charities progressing from fundraising roles to national charities’ director, leading teams and winning awards along the way meeting celebrities including Ozzy Osborne and Joanna Lumley in a quest to raise profile and attract funds for different appeals.
Throughout her career, she has built collaborative partnerships and relationships with individuals and organisations across sectors to support community and national charities and encouraging others into leadership through her supportive role as a mentor at the Elischer Foundation. We look forward to hearing her share her experiences in her career to date
Our lunch will be in the private dining area at Gusto, Colmore Row, Birmingham B3 2BS with its contemporary Italian menu with fresh, carefully selected simple ingredients to create the best tasting food and drink.
Lunch will be 2 courses including vegan/vegetarian/gluten free options and a drink including non-alcoholic options.
We hope you can join us with colleagues, clients, friends or on your own for what promises to be an informative, inspiring and relaxing lunch in one of Birmingham’s best loved restaurants.
