Mindfulness and simple yoga exercises.

Music, movement and creative activities.

Immersive group games.

Communication and empathy exercises.

Growing up in an ‘always-on’ world saturated with digital technology can be confusing and stressful. How do children find calm, inner contentment and space to navigate their own identities in the ‘Age of Communication’? These workshops for 6-11 year olds combine mindfulness and communication exercises with dynamic play, music, movement, team work and creative activities. Led by primary school and accredited mindfulness teachers Agnieszka Tadaj and Imogen O'Rorke with music from Allison Sleator (www.allisonsleator.com), the workshops will foster emotional awareness, communication skills, creative thinking, mind-body integration and digital resilience.

Each ticket allows entry for 1 child. Parents are welcome to join the session for free, or can just drop off. Basic refreshments will be provided. We welcome all children between 6-11 years but please contact us in advance on altogetherpresent@gmail.com if your child has additional educational or dietary needs, or a disability, to see if the events will be suitable.

NB. THERE ARE 8 FREE PLACES per workshop for local families on low income and via Children's Centres. You can book here (scroll down for FREE) and please bring proof of income (e.g. benefit letter, flyer or password on the day. No more than 2 free spaces per booking.
