Angus Young - Partner - Specialises in Corporate Law

Angus joined Waterfront as a partner in 2018 and has a broad range of corporate and commercial experience, including in mergers and acquisitions. Angus has worked across a wide range of sectors, including IT, fintech, venture capital, life sciences, telecommunications, retail and energy & resources, including for both domestic and international clients.

Sharon R. Zachariah - Head of Commercial and Data Protection

A well-regarded commercial lawyer and a CIPP/E certified data protection professional, Sharon has extensive technology, data privacy, consultancy, staffing and science & innovation experience. Sharon has in the course of her legal career delivered interim stewardship, GDPR projects and process improvements for in-house legal departments, and she is able to quickly gauge a client’s business needs.

Anthony Purvis - Head of Employment Law

Anthony joined Waterfront Solicitors in March 2012 and, become partner in 2017, specialises in all aspects of contentious and non-contentious employment law. He offers succinct and practical advice to both businesses and individuals on various issues including redundancies, unfair and wrongful dismissals claims, unlawful discrimination, grievance and disciplinary procedures, TUPE, contracts of employment, settlement agreements and the employment aspects of corporate reorganisations or sales.

Phil Leonard Specialises in intellectual property

Phil moved to Waterfront in 2020 after training at a niche London practice, Oury Clark, where he worked closely with founders, entrepreneurs and SMEs in the technology and software sectors. Phil is an Associate in the Intellectual Property and Disputes teams, assisting with litigation over intellectual property rights, and advising clients on a variety of other contentious and non-contentious matters including trademark and copyright infringement, keyword disputes and breach of contract.
