About this event
WiDS @ Durham University is an independent event that is organized by two Durham University's students, Yara Jubran and Rowan Morris, as part of the annual WiDS Worldwide conference organized by Stanford University and an estimated 150+ locations worldwide, which features outstanding women doing outstanding work in the field of data science. All genders are invited to attend all WiDS Worldwide conference events.
WiDS is a conference that provides an opportunity to hear about the latest data science-related research in a number of domains, learn how leading-edge companies are using data science for success, and connect with potential mentors and collaborators in the field.
For our first virtual conference of WiDS at Durham University, we have a great line-up of speakers from academia and industry who will share their research, experience and knowledge with us.
