Event description

Description

This workshop is aimed at improving your skills with a camera. Great for beginners who want to get off the automatic settings. It will be geared towards digital cameras rather than phone cameras.

There will be some discussion of the principles of phtoography, a practical session in which you go out and take photographs, and returning to the classroom afterwards to review.

Please bring along your own camera!

Wikipedia is the 5th most visited website in the world. With 5 million pages in English, there are plenty of opportunities to share your photographs with the world.

The workshop takes place on the second day of Wiki Loves Monuments, a photography competition based on heritage, so you will be able to put your new skills to use straight away!
