Wild and Hopeful: parenthood, child rights and doing things differently
Event Information
Description
Join Amy Doust and Lucy AitkenRead in conversation at the Institute of Imagination's Imagination Lab for a lively, thought provoking and honest discussion about parenthood and raising wild and wonderful children. Lucy has moved with her family to live a yurt in New Zealand while Amy has just returned from living on a mountain in rural Tuscany with her three young children. Both families now home educate in an un-schooling, child-led kind of way. Challenge, question, laugh and have a glass of wine as you hear their stories and why they chose to do it differently. Hear about yurt living in New Zealand and attempting to integrate in a closed community while trying to pick up the language in Italy, about days we get it right, the times we get it wrong as we follow the momentum of our journeys as mammas.
