About this event

Your creativity is your path home to yourself.

You are so ready to explore your creativity, but it is more than that, this is part of your healing, a step towards taking ownership of you joy and stepping into living from a place of inspiration.

If you are longing to make time and find the space to let rip creatively - this is for you.

Magic happens when you give yourself this space, and open up and play.

My name is Moyra Scott and I am an artist, a facilitator and full time creative coach.

Wild Art Journaling is my thing.... it is a journey and I am here to open the door.

I know how it feels to reconnect with your creativity, and why it matters. AND I know you definitely CAN do it, and love it.

OUTLINE OF THE WORKSHOP - what we will do

  • Opening circle - introductions & setting sacred space and intentions.
  • Introduction to Wild Art Journaling - a creative practice
  • Freewriting, journaling out your thoughts and feelings on to a page (no one will ever see this, it is totally private) to clear your head and let it all out
  • A short guided, grounding and clearing meditation
  • Short prompted journaling session
  • Working in layers you will be guided to create using collage and paint
  • Gradually the guidance is reduced and you are deep in creative flow
  • You will leave with a unique piece of art that is more than just a pretty picture. It will represent the experience.
  • You will leave knowing how you too can drop into creative flow without worrying about what others think or whether what you produce is good enough.
  • Closing - sharing, reflection and closing of the space

INTRODUCING WILD ART JOURNALING

Wild Art Journaling is a revolutionary path towards creative expression, accessible to those who feel the call .

It is not about skill, and - crucially - it is not about the output, this focuses on the process, as a spiritual practice, rather than the outcome. This is art you make for your own pleasure, for what it gives you and how it makes you feel, rather than what it looks like. You do not have to show anyone what you have made. There is no grading or getting it wrong. You cannot fail!

Yes you will learn some mixed media techniques, but more importantly you will truly enjoy yourself, and spend time in deep creative flow. SO good for your soul.

It is a step in the journey into personal and creative transformation. Let go of your expectations, embrace the joy of the doing of the thing and feel the benefit in all areas of your life.

Unleashing your creative spirit unlocks boundless possibilities.

Create - so that you can:

  • Express emotions and inner thoughts.
  • Explore and unleash our innate creativity.
  • Face the unknown with courage.
  • Find joy and fulfilment in the artistic process.
  • Connect with others through shared experience.
  • Cultivate gratitude and practice mindfulness.
  • Challenge ourselves and embrace personal growth.
  • Experience a sense of accomplishment and pride.
  • Create SPACE for our true selves.
  • Create a lasting legacy in the world.

Let the experience teach you how to let go and enjoy your life.

Testimonials

“Moyra is a creative genius and absolutely brilliant at bringing that out in other people too!" (participant)

"Today’s wild art journaling workshop with Moyra was an absolutely BEAUTIFUL experience. At the end of the two hours, it felt like I was waking up from a trance (in a good way!) and I felt such a sense of calm, grounding and connectedness.I thought I was just doing an art workshop, but ended up with this multi-layered, collaborative, deeply meaningful piece that is NOTHING like I would ever have usually created. The workshop was a fantastic mix of mindfulness, reflection and creativity while practising letting go and going with the flow — genuinely, such a unique experience."

"Moyra is a blend of down to earth & spirituality - she's fab!"
