Wild Bunch is ecobirmingham's popular forest school programme.
As part of our work with The Springfield Project, ecobirmingham are running weekly 2-hour forest school sessions at the Project's allotment site by the River Cole.
These sessions are aimed at home-educating families (and open to all during school holidays!) with children aged 4-12, where grown-ups and children join together for some unforgettable nature connecting memories.
Sessions will be filled with fun nature crafts using tools safely, active games and explorations learning about the nature around us, as well as healthy and warm vegetarian snacks cooked together on the campfire!
Activities are child-led, with the support of Mike, our popular and experienced DBS-checked forest school practitioner.
Every Thursday, 11.30am-1.30pm, throughout the year, including school holidays.
All ticket types are pay what you can and grown-ups go free!
Please note that a place on our Wild Bunch programme would usually costs £15 per child per day, but we want carers to feel comfortable paying what they feel they can afford. Please be mindful that tickets will need to be reserved one at a time, and Eventbrite will ask for a donation each time.
Sessions will take place at the Knowle Road Allotment Site, Knowle Road, Sparkhill, Birmingham, B11 3AW.
Note that parking is difficult on Knowle Road, so please use active or public transport (buses number 1 and 6 stop nearby) if possible, or consider car-sharing.
Parents/carers will be responsible for their children at all time.
