Welcome to Wild Conversations, a Creative Poetry Workshop!
Join us at People's Park Tavern on August 6, 2025 at 1:00 PM for a creative session exploring our relationship with nature. No experience needed, just a curious mind!
When was the last time you spoke to nature? Come spend some quality time with the wild in this workshop! We'll have creative exercises, writing prompts, and time to share writing and reflections (if you want).
Spend 90 minutes relaxing, connecting, and thinking about the world a bit differently. :)
P.S. This event is supported by North London Waste Authority and the University of Derby as part of a research project. This event is organised by artist and facilitator Susha Sooral and environmental charity Hubbub (registered charity 1158700 ).
Residents or those working in North London (the boroughs of Barnet, Camden, Enfield, Hackney, Haringey, Islington or Waltham Forest) can receive a £20 voucher by filling in surveys to contribute to the research. See the FAQs to find out more about the research.
Photography: Please note, there will be photography on the day. See the FAQs for our photography policy. If you would not like to be photographed, please speak to an organiser on the day.
FAQs
What is the research about?
This research helps the NLWA and the Uni of Derby understand your experience of the activities you joined and how you feel about actions that reduce waste. Here's the full info sheet: Participant Information Sheet_NLWA-Hubbub-Uni of Derby.pdf
Where will photography go?
Photography from this event may appear on Hubbub or NLWA’s social media, reports, or websites. The NLWA will keep the photos for a maximum of 3 years and will keep contact details on file for a maximum of 3 years as well.
How to withdraw photography permission
You can contact NLWA at any time at post@nlwa.gov.uk to withdraw this permission so that NLWA will not use the photos in future (this may only include the removal of photos from NLWA records where you can be clearly identified). Once the photo(s) are already published, they cannot be removed.
I need accessibility modifications
We'd love to have you with us! Please contact (however you want to be contacted) with any extra requirements you need from us and we'll do our very best to accommodate.
