An introductory workshop for cyanotype printmaking in the great outdoors
About this event
This is a short introductory workshop to cyanotype printmaking. We will be exploring the art of cyanotypes and printmaking through practical application as well as discussing ways to make art whilst being in touch with and mindful of the environment around us. I will introduce various techniques and all participants will leave with their own original prints.
I will provide all materials including paper and a selection of natural objects to print. Please bring any objects that you want to print and any ideas you wish to explore.
We will meet at the Pebble sculpture garden along the beachfront in Kemptown. From there, we can walk down to the sea and make our prints! If you have any trouble finding us, don't hesitate to message.
If the weather is really rainy or unsuitable, the workshop will be rescheduled.
Covid- we will be outside and distanced so it should be completely Covid safe.
