A 2-hour forage walk on the Ribbesford Trail to identify some of the best wild edible and medicinal plants in the area. PDF guide included.
About this event
Walk will be led by Owen Raybould of Bitesize Foraging - Owen is an established and experienced foraging instructor who has been teaching in the area for some years. He will show you how to safely forage for wild greens, and will impart some surprising facts about the plants that grow wild around us in the UK, including some of their herbal/medicinal uses.
Please bring appropriate footwear and weather-appropriate clothing and a drink.
Please note that the walking route has one short hill to climb, and may be muddy or slippery in parts when wet.
Feel free to bring a camera, phone or pen and paper to take notes, but PDF guide will be provided after the walk.
