Wild Food & Wilderness Cookery

Come and join us for a fascinating day looking at some of the many tasty wild edible plants and possibly fungi you can find in the countryside.
We will then learn various ways we can make use of them to create simple tasty dishes. You will also discover how to utilize a campfire in order to cook fish and other foods without any metal utensils. Dave Watson has been teaching on wild foods for well over 20 years and will focus on instilling confidence in your ability to identify different plants as well as trying out new ideas.
Suitable for ages 6+. Any under 18's must be accompanied by an adult. Please wear suitable footwear and clothing as you'll be outdoors for part of the event. There will be strong smells and smoke, as well as long periods of standing. Access to toilets is available!
