A night full of nocturnal activities for everyone to enjoy.
At the centre, there will be:
- Owl Pellet Dissection: What did the barn owl eat for tea? Have a look at what's left behind in an owl's pellet, from skulls to beetles wings.
- Skulls and bones table
- Make a tin can bug home - please bring a clean empty can
At 6.30pm we will venture out into the woods in search of bats and owls, stopping to explore the night-time world of invertebrates with some torchlight bug hunting, and to find out more about the stars in our sky (weather permitting).Please bring a torch with you as most activities will be outside in the dark. Also wrap up warm, wellies recommended.
