Knoydart is a peninsula on the west coast of Scotland and is known as ‘Britain’s Last Wilderness’. Isolated from the UK road network, the region is only accessible only by boat or by foot. It is truly a stunning and unspoiled corner of Scotland!
Join us at Doune Bay Lodge on Knoydart, with it's lovely beachfront location and incredible views. The lodge has twin rooms, all ensuite, with shared cooking facilities (self-catering; most meals not included). It is also totally off-grid, so all the power is from solar, small hydro and battery. If ever there was a way to really 'get away from it all' then this is it!
We call this a retreat for a reason - running will be at a sociable pace with plenty of stops for photos, walking and chatting. Nobody gets left behind! Take in the scenery as our guides show you the way, explain the Gaelic names of the surrounding hills and point-out the rich wildlife on land and sea.
