About this event

Family & Education • Children & Youth

Calling all witches and wizards, goblins and ghouls!  This Halloween, come along to our woodland school of magic nestled in the mystical setting of The Hive. Using natural materials, you can design an enchanted cloak, build your very own broomstick from scratch, create magical wild potions and make a wand to conjure your spells! Are you ready to be spellbound?

Wild Magic at The Hive will run on:

  • Thursday 30th October 10am - 12pm
  • Thursday 30th October 1pm - 3pm

(Please ensure you purchase the correct tickets for the relevant session)

Tickets are £9 per child (for children up to 12 years). Accompanying adults and children over 12 enter free, but please still book a ticket then we can keep track of numbers. Any individuals over 12 who wish to take part in activities must have a child's ticket purchased.

Children must be accompanied by an adult for this session.

We recommend that you arrive at Moss Bank Park 15 minutes ahead of your allotted ticket time to ensure you have plenty of time to park up and find The Hive. This will avoid disappointment and the possibility of missing part of the event.

On arrival follow the signage into the Hive (we are located behind Moss Bank Park Cafe). Once in the Hive you will need to head to our entrance kiosk (shed) where you will be met by one of our events team. Please ensure you are outside the entrance kiosk ready for your session start time.

Fancy dress is welcome, but this is an outdoor activity so please come dressed for the weather including waterproofs and sturdy footwear.

The activity takes place on very uneven terrain. If your child has a young sibling in a buggy, there will be a place to park your buggies. Please be aware however, that you will need to carry your little one over unsurfaced paths.
