About this event

  • Event lasts 1 hour

Do you want to learn how sharks fly and birds swim?

In this interactive, hands-on session at the Wild Chesil Centre we’ll discover more about the natural world by carrying out fun and exciting scientific investigations.

The event will start at 11:45am and will last for approximately 1 hour. Please aim to arrive 5-10 minutes before the start time.

There is a large council-owned pay and display car park (Chesil Beach Pay & Display) next to the Wild Chesil Centre. Please note, parking charges are not included in the event ticket cost.

If coming by public transport, the number 1 bus runs regularly between Weymouth and Portland. The closest bus stop is at Ferrybridge. It is then approximately a 10-15 minute walk to the centre.
